Privacy Policy

ChainPrompt is designed to minimize data collection. We do not run a backend. We do not receive, process, or store your text, prompts, or API keys. Everything stays in your browser unless you explicitly export a workflow JSON.

What we store

• LocalStorage: your UI preferences, saved workflows, recent runs metadata.
• API keys: if you paste a key, it’s kept only in your browser’s localStorage unless you remove it.

Third-party services

If you opt-in to ads (AdSense), Google may set cookies to measure ad performance and prevent abuse. See our Cookie Policy. When you run a step, your text is sent directly from your device to the model provider (e.g., OpenAI) under their terms and privacy policy.

Your controls

• Clear browser storage anytime to remove local data (workflows, keys, history).
• Disable ads via the cookie banner or your browser settings.
• Choose lighter models and redact sensitive content before sending to a provider.
